New SSM/5at with Navi

Thanks to everyone on this board for the information. I finally traded my 03 type S for
a SSM/Ebony/5AT with Navi and I am loving it!! My wife likes it because I offer to drive
everywhere now!! I will try to post a short review after I get a few hundred miles
on the car. One thing I did notice, most of the salesmen at the dealer did not realize the
Navi version had Michelin tires.

front bumper

On the front bumper, passenger side there is a small circular cutout with a body colored plug in it. It is about the size of a silver dollar. Any idea what it is?

I was leaning toward black, same as my last two cars, but when I saw the SSM it changed my mind
immediately.

tasdisr, like you, I made the jump from a TL-S to a SSM/5AT with Navi.

It was a seemless transition for me and you'll love it! I know how you feel about driving more now. I've had mine for about 7 months and have taken it on a couple of road trips to Rhode Island and to Maryland (from NJ). It a great tourer and a great daily driver. Well, it's an awesome fun car too on the deserted twisty roads.

Welcome to the club and enjoy your new ride!

Nice - I currently have an '03 TLS (SSM) and on Friday I ordered my '05 NAVI 6MT - but went to the NBP as I've had three straight silver cars!! Sorry, not trying to

Enjoy - its so easy to keep clean!

An Excellent Choice!

Congratulations on a sharp car, SSM AT Ebony Navi, same as mine. Your point regarding the Michelin tires is well-taken. I was test driving my TL, just prior to signing the deal, when I asked him about the tires on the 05 Navis. He said, "Bridgestone". I said, "Wrong". When we got back to the dealership, I showed him the error of his ways. MICHELIN!!!

Hey, maybe I should be selling cars!
