NEW MICHELINS& STILL VIBRATING
NEW MICHELINS& STILL VIBRATING
I Have 4000 Miles On My Tl. Had It In Three Times For The Vibration.
1.rebalance Tires
2.replace2 Tires&rebalance
3.replace Tires With Michelins(still Vibrating)
4.had Outside Agency Roadforce Balance Michelins(same Vibration)
My Vibration Is Very Light At 65mph+its Not The Tires Or Wheels.
Its Felt Through The Whole Car,must Be Drive Train Related.when I Have Passengers In Car They Don't Notice Till I Have Them Feel The Wheel At Highway Speeds, there Is Also A Slight Harmonic Noise You Can Hear.
Sound Familiar?
Its Really Irritating On Long Trips(expressway)i Am Driving 700 Miles On Monday And I Think I Will Take My Wifes Pilot To Avoid The Irritation.
Anyone Have This Problem&got It Fixed With A Different Solution Than Tires?

I dont think this is a tire issue, its the "air resonance" that everyone is going to have. Dont believe there is a fix for this, its just something that has to be dealt with. I have the same problem, its not really a vibration, but I am used to it and it does not bother me!
What Michelin tires do you have?
What RPM range are you having this vibration if you think it's drivetrain issue?
If you talk about "harmonic noise", it seems like the resonnance of exhaust, but this happens between 48-60 MPH while RPM is around 1400-1800 RPM.
However, you're talking 65+ mph?
Thanks.

Sorry to hear this, if you're sure it happens while up to 65 mph and the RPM doesn't matter, the Acura characteristic 1500 RPM harmonic issue is not the case to your car...
Could be something else...

P.S. JBGK, you may need to update your profile. (In the past, someone may say JBGK is suspicious because he said he has "04 TL GREY".)
