Hey all, my name is Travis and I'm looking into getting an 07'-08' TL type S one day soon and thought it would be a great idea to join a community of owners that can help me in my future buy. I'm really wanting a Type S but have to sell my current car first. I guess after I've been here long enough I'll post my car for sale or trade. Unless I can post it now...? Is their any body difference between an 07-08' type S and an 05-08' TL?

I know I emailed people left and right from autotrader that had an S. I think I got all of them.

 

Put the C55 up for sale, you'll find a buyer.

They're pretty rare. How many miles?

Any car can sell really fast. How fast depends on your asking and purchase price. Unless your car is +10 years old, dont expect to sell nowhere near KBB value. You shot yourself in the foot by doing the 60K job. The money in the 60K job would be deducted from asking price and makes the buyer think they are getting a better deal. I have sold many used cars within a week and some within 24 hours by lising and selling the car at rock bottom prices.

 

Yeah man. I love the TL-S look, rims, exhaust etc.

That's cool man, I'm in Ocala like an hour away. I use to go to Orlando a lot last year when I had my skyline and after I was done gettin her tuned I would head to Tampa to hang out with some friends and race around. I think I really want a TL-S rather than a standard TL cause almost every car I've had I was never happy with till I made the other meaning my first car was a Caprice that I turned into an Impala SS, my Corvette was a standard LS1 I turned the car into a Z06 cause that's what I wanted. My GTR and my AMG are the only real cars so I don't want to get a TL and have to turn it into a TL-S. I dont like clones anymore.

 

Nice C55, a buddy of mine has one and they are pretty sweet. I would get the type s from the beginning and enjoy it.

 

Thanks bro, I just hope I can find someone with a TL-S that would trade me, other wise I'm going to have settle for a normal 07-08 TL Spec A.

Yeah I hope it's soon . You know I was in between getting an STi wrx or a TL-S and after seeing one drive making a left right in front of me, I was hooked and dead set on that car! It was white on the stock black chrome wheels and it was killer! I mean after that I've been making a list of things that I'm going to do to it once I get it. Headlight change, tint the tails, get an exhaust, etc.

 

wish you could sell it, then you could buy mine straight out!! HAHA
