Hello all! I am just purchasing a 2007 Acura TL Type S. It is CBP with just over 100K on it. It has the beige interior. I have been lurking around trying to learn as much as i possibly can about it.

My past cars were:

1996 Acura Integra GSR with JDM front
1990 Acura Integra GS 4 door w/ JDM B16
1990 Acura Integra GS 4 door w/ B18 LS
1996 Acura Integra GSR 4 door w/ JDM B18C w/ITR trans
1999 Lexus GS400

I have had some others but nothing worth mentioning.

I did like Integras. Still have a soft spot for them. Great daily drivers. I ended up with an automatic.

 

Integra is a great car! I still like them.

Not sure if anyone cares but here was my 1999 Lexus GS400 that I affectionately called "Taraji".

 

The gen Lexus looked great from every angle but the butt...those tails....ewww. No offense intended, jmo.

 

The tail lights were the factory tail lights

 

I know that...not sure what the Lexus designers were thinking tho.

 

nice GS don't know why they have E-shift in the GS400 but disappear on the GS430. I like saddle interior of a Sport Design tho. Well you know what its already.

 

Well I had to let the TL go back to the dealership. They refunded my money. So now I am searching again

Well we hadn't finalized the financing with dealership & then they wanted to raise the price on the car so I decided they could have it back. So now the search continues.....

Wow dick move on their part. I hope they have the car sit on their lot for months now. I know the type S is saught after but come on its an auto and you already practically bought it sounded like.

 

Well my search is finally over!! I picked up a ASM 07 Type S last night from Carmax. This one was a far more solid car with 95,000 miles on it. It was late when I left the so I only have 1 pic.

Got my windows tinted yesterday & performed some maintenance.

Window tint is 5% rear windshield, 20% side windows, 50% front windshield.

I also changed oil, Wasn't to secure with the oil change CarMax did. So I changed oil & transmission fluid. I also installed yellow fog lights.

Tried to have the stereo shop install a ipod adapter but they stated they could not find one that would work the way I wanted. Stated USA Spec no longer makes the one that most people have here. Few more mods coming soon.

 

I have an 07 TLS and it has a USB port in the bottom arm console. That's how I connect.

 

Sorry, I meant AUX cable.

 

Also a recent 07 TL buyer. '07 with 71k on it. Seems like a good, reliable daily driver to me.

 

Well I have had few more things done. The first thing I did was to have my windows tinted. Then I took the car in to have a check engine looked at & Carmax then scratches my window tint on the windshield. They stated it was because they were removing my radar detector. I asked why were you messing with it in the first place??? . So I had to have my windshield re tinted & while I was at it I installed my H.I.C side window visors. I will probably order the rear visor next week. Then I will concentrate on cleaning up my leather & maintenance. Almost at timing belt time. Well we have been getting hammered with pollen so I took the time to wash the car & take some pics
