"son of a bitch" I said to myself as I hit a small patch of ice while making a U-turn tonight and clipped the curb, lol. I was trying to go back to the hair cut shop because I forgot to leave my barber a tip, lol. Go figure. Put a nice crack in my bumper as it popped out of the pressure clips

Should be repairable with some plastic epoxy at the body shop, but I bent a rim pretty bad. Thankfully I use shitty wheels in winter so I just ordered a replacement for 100 bucks.

yeah minor damage for sure, thankfully. 100 for a wheel, 50 for an alignment, and probably 200 to repair the crack at my shop - I'm paying the stupid tax, lol.

for sure. I just skidattled the 300 yards up the street with my bent rim to the barber shop and walked in with a 5 spot to give to her and walked out.

i neglected to mention that her tip just cost me a few hundred bucks, lol

perhaps, lol. My haircut costs 10 bucks and takes about 5 minutes to do, so relatively speaking she's doin' alright

I_love_cars, that sucks. You are a true gentleman for doing that. I wouldn't call it the stupid tax, it's the gentleman's tax. What kind of tires are you running?

hankook icebears. I prefer blizzaks but the icebears came with the car and so did the wheels they were mounted on so I couldn't complain. And thankfully the replacement wheel is cheap.

shhh shhh shhhhh

although on that note, this turned into a very expensive day because I just paid Gerz for his race heads today, too. Damn, lol.

this morning while turning into the park and ride I drove over the curb to avoid hitting a fu***** deer that ran across the front of my car.
Luckily it only scrapped my side skirt at the bottom so its not really to obvious.

but its obvious to me....

I should of just hit that deer instead of avoiding it.

Thats pretty shitty. Sorry to hear.

I slid about 10 feet today in my car. Tried to stop at a stop sign; uh...whoops and slid into the intersection. Luckily it was a small residential road in my neighborhood.

I wasn't even on ice. I was on packed snow going about 15mph...Slid 10 feet while pressing brakes and pulled the ebrake..stopped 10 feet from the curb.

But i digress...

Good luck on the repairs. Depending on your deductible it may be worth it to just handle it out of pocket for around ~$500...250$ for a bumper 250$ for paint.

Glad I live in Texas where it doesn't even reach 32 let alone freeze. On the rare occasion it does it is fun to watch all the people "try" and drive. Sorry to hear about that though. Hope the repairs go well!

Yup... Stupid freezing rain... Took me 40 minutes to get from Sandy to Downtown... You'd think they'd take a preemptive strike on ice formation and save everyone a ton of trouble!

King tune!

WHY? hell yes BECAUSE RACE CAR VROOOOOM

no but seriously though I talked to gerz for an hour last night and the car is definitely going to be beast.

I kinda feel bad for King because I was telling them I was gonna have them do a bottom end rebuild for me, but now I'm gonna be able to pretty much do everything myself so I'm just gonna need them to port match my manifold to the intake runners and re-tune, lol. Saves me like 6 or 7k though so F it
