my TL was HIT:(

daym guys today after i got home from work i was looking at my TL as i went inside and noticed someone hit my license plate theres a big indent and the bracket thats holding the lincense plate is bent. i looked behind the license plate and there was my biggest nightmare a dent with some paint chipping. i dunt know weather someone backed into my car because there is no paint on my license plate i was also thinking someone may have kicked it, freaking haters. Even though im probaly going to get a new license plate bracket and new license plate and it will cover up the dent i feel really pissed and sad at the same timee, i will post pictures later as im pretty upset right now thanks i just wanted to get this off my chest

are there any coworkers that have a grudge against you or had an argument with you that day?

A better search would be for a coworker who is a notoriously horrible parker.

wow thats strange because i have the exact same dent behind my license plate and i just moved to NC where you do not need a front plate and now i wanna take it off and theres a DENT! like a 2" x 2" dent and the n a few scratches.... i went to the acura dealer today and they jus estimated real quick.. "a few hundred" because they would also have to repaint the whole bumper.. ughhh

This is funny becuase the same thing happened to my brother. Some old guy was driving and parked into my brother's TL's front plate. Luckily, the plate saved him from a messed up bumper. He let the old guy go because there was no damage...there's a lot the license can do =P

Think of it this way, the front plate just saved you possible injuries to your grill and /or a-spec lip

I can see how you can make a case for your car...an otherwise speckless front with the aspec...and then a huge yellow blob in the middle...

the same could be said for the OP, it seems he has his aspec on the way too.

the thing I hate the most about front plates is that they block the Acura logo.

to OP: Just toss the front plate/racket in the trunk, and if you get pulled over just say that your bracket is broken, the one in the trunk, and you have a new one in the mail.

F'in why put it there to be covered in some states. Acura did me a favor and DRILLED an extra hole in my bumper so even with plugs I still have a nice hole.

to the OP: it's a sign!!

I remember that you started a thread about that a while back...why did they do that?

At the very least don't make the bracket so goddamn HUGE...

we're getting off-topic here, though.

Check your glove box. That's where I found the plugs for my front plate.
