Hey guys ,i called my local dealer about this issue,He told me that if your vehicle is effected you will get a letter in the mail. My 04 currently has 75k on it and the power steering pump is making a horrible sound when making a wide radius turn. Are you guys getting just the hose replaced? or the PS pump also.

Have any 04's got this done yet?

If anyone has any information as to what's going on with this recall, please let me know.

 

no letter yet but i do see it in my owners link website.

ive had 5 pumps if that counts....and its not the pump thats being chaged unless theycant fixurs its an o ring that gets replaced that shrinks too much on the inlet pipe and lets air in though the seal when cold.

 

I got the letter yesterday for an 04 Vin 32xxx which I no longer own. With the lease ready to expire I traded it in on an 08 Vin 30xxx 3 months ago. Hopefully the new one isn't affected.

 

Received my letter today for the PS hose...there was also a recall for the wiper motor.
