As far as I know, the Motorola T720 phone is a blue tooth phone.... isnt it? or it has bluetooth anyway

 

Not with Verizon it doesn't.... I have had this phone for over a year and it SUCKS! I will NEVER buy Motorola again. I have had software issues repeatedly.

 

I've been using it over a year now. It is not a BT phone. At least with the verizon version. Okay phone but not that great.

 

No T720 is not a Bluetooth phone...no matter who your carrier is. You'll have to wait for V600 like the rest of us.

 

FYI..for those interested, the V600 is now released for Cingular...my co-worker just got it....damn nice phone. I still won't leave verizon for it, but it is by far the nicest phone I have ever seen.

Unfotunately, he got it from him brother, a Cingular employee....I say unfortunately because I am not sure that it has been released to the general public yet....all Cingular employees (from what he told me) were given one of these phones from Motorola as a promotional push. I bet some are on ebay by now

MOTOROLA SUCKS.... I called nextel to see if they're going to have any bluetooth phones in near future and the rep. said what is bluetooth :banghead: and then I said what about camera phones and he had no info on it.

 

time to switch carriers.

buy an unlocked phone. i think one of the v600's on ebay was unlocked.

an unlocked phone is a phone that can travel to any carrier, no matter who you got it from. i'm not sure how they do it completely, but people do it and sell them on ebay. then all you do, is get the unlocked phone set up with your number through your carrier

 

ok good, but will the walkie talkie work, free incomming calls... will these things work? I bet that phone dont have buttons on side to use walkie talkie.

 

You get an unlocking code from the manufacturer/carrier which you can enter through phone menu. Typically once you signup with a carrier a phone is locked with them for 3 months. You can ask for unlocking code after three months. I'd unlocked my T68i Sony/Erricson with T-Mobile after 3 months of use.

I am surprised at all these anti-Motorola posts.

I've had their phones in the past without any problems. I currently have a few Nokia's and one Sony, but would not hesitate in getting a Motorola again based on my past experience.

 

My v600 rocks. I works great with my aftermarket BT kit. Can't wait to get my TL and sync it up.
