Anyone know of a Window Tinter in Orlando, FL that can install moleskin on out Acura TL's thnx. Need help and I dont want to attempt to install it myself.

 

Nobody knows of a Window Tinter in Orlando, fl that can install moleskin?

 

I don't know anyone that can do it. My window installer would not install moleskins so I found a place to buy it and installed it myself. It is VERY easy to do.

I live in DeBary... just north of Sanford.

All you need to do is

Take out 4 screws
Pop off the door panel
Take out the window runner
Clean with alcohol
Stick on moleskins on both wipers for each door
Re-assemble back together

It only took me about an hour to do all doors.

I have a moleskin kit I can hook you up with for $10 if your interested.

I can email the instructions if you would like.

Just let me know...

 

In the past I have used Tops in Detail on S. Orange Ave. They have done several cars for me and the work was flawless. Sorry I don't have a phone number but give them a try.

I asked my tint guy about moleskin and he looked at me like I was from Mars! 'Whats that??' he retorted...

In all honesty it is not that difficult to install, and there are some great posts on here with how to's (including detailed pics).

I would just get the tint done, and put in the moleskin on your own.

That's good info about the moleskin, but misses the original question.

 

many tinters don't now about the TL wipe issue and many just say "moleskin?? the film is warrantied against scratching and if it does we will replace it", this is very common.
