mirror visibility?

Is it just me or has anybody else noticed that in this bad weather that we are having in the NE the side mirrors become very dirty. This along with the corner of the window getting dirtier that the rest of the window makes it very difficult to see.

I have never noticed this in any of my other cars......any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I RainX the windows as well as the side mirrors and while they are not sparkly clean, I would say that it did indeed help at least a little. Give it a shot... I swear by RainX.

I noticed the same thing--in rainy weather the side mirrors are coated with drops making it difficult to see clearly in them, ditto for salt spray, it wraps right around the mirror housing & coats the mirror.

Not sure what can be done--if the mirror was recessed further into the housing that might have helped the situation in rain, and aerodynamic tuning may have prevented spray from coating the mirror.

I've noticed the same thing, my side mirrors get dirty quickly.

And, since they are a bit recessed, It's hard to clean them with the standard sponge/squeegy at gas stations.
