Is Microfiber OK?

I saw a bagfull of Microfiber cloths in the car cleaning section of Costco. The bag claimed that the MF cloth is excellent for removing old wax.

Will using the MF cloth remove my Zaino coat?

Is there anything I need to be careful about when using the MF cloth?

I'm using them for buffing. They seem to do a great job.

Hey, I bought a bag of that MF stuff to for my car. It works GREAT! It's amazing how much H2O those towels soak up, and they won't scratch your car!

Regarding the Zaino removal - I'm not to sure about that, but these certainly get the job done!

I just Zaino'd my car yesterday for the first time. I must say that as impressed as I am with Zaino I was just as impressed with microfiber products. I ordered mine from autofiber.com. I love the stuff and will never use anything else. The drying towels are fantastic as are the buffing towels. I highly recommend them. No scratches or swirl marks.
And of course it's going to rain today....

Someone recommended these to me on this board (can't recall who) - but a HUGE thanks, cause they work great, don't cost a lot and no scratches, great water absorption and great for wax removal. Combined with Meguiars latest NXT wax and WOW - she looks good.

the microfibers won't leave nasty lint on the windows when you use them to clean it. be careful when you buy microfiber at costco some of them claim to be microfiber but have other stuff in it that does scratch. i have microfiber from autofiber.com as well and it works great. but one thing to look out for is the edges and the tag. i am not a fan of wiping the car dry i just lay the towel down and let it soak with minimal wiping(i do do it but very little). but if you notice the edges are thicker threads which can cause swirl marks. also the tag with the care instructions obviously isn't safe for the car either. there are edgeless microfiber towels available but i don't want to spend more dough on this stuff. get the waffle weave microfiber for drying your car. it sucks water up at a tremendous rate. you won't ever really have to wipe.

Package has like 12 in it. I do not think it was more than $15. (Crazy day that day - don't think my 2 year old was "in the mood" to be there - so I think I just tossed the MF towels in the basket and kept on going)

The towels are like 12x18" ? Guessing. Not huge like a bath towel. But you can fold it into 4 qtrs and get a lot of use out of one.

not the best for windows...

I love these Costco MF towels for the car body, but when I tried them on the inside of the front windshiled, it left a small amount of what appeared to be lint on the window. This is after I washed the towels alone in the washing machine, which I thought would take care of the lint.
