Looking for car jack

I am looking for a replacement car jack for my 2004 TL. Anyone know where I can get one for cheap? I am trying to avoid going to the dealer. I am in the Atlanta area.

Thanks!

harbor freight.

lightweight 2 ton racing jack. works perfectly for lowered cars as well and easy to transport.

i've had mine for years with no issues.

Thanks guys! I guess I don't necessarily need the OEM as much as something small that I can keep in the trunk.

If it's something your looking to keep in the car for the emergency flat like they come stock, then absolutely get OEM. Your best bet would be eBay. Even though I have not had to use the jack that's in the car, but I assume it's a scissor jack. Where did your original go?

The OEM collapsed under the car last this past weekend. Luckily no one was hurt and no damage was done to the car. I had a buddy with a low profile floor jack but now I need to replace the original.

Oh ok I see. Yeah I would just get another oem one that way it can be stowed and secured the same way. Would be stupid to buy a different jack then have it just laying in your trunk somewhere.
As far as an actual floor jack, I have a bad ass low profile craftsman that is super light, yet a big full size jack, raises up in literally two or three pumps (like nascar style I guess lol), and will get under even the lowest car ever made. It's been a while, but I'm sure it wasn't cheap though, but I use it a lot.

How specific of an OEM jack do I need to search for? For instance, will the jack for an 01 Integra work on my 04 TL?

I'm surprised no one suggested this but check your local junk yard!

Yeah that could work, but seriously, isnt ebay just easier? I mean, how many towns have a local junkyard, then on top of that you have to go there and chances are they dont have a TL.
Im sure they are readily available and its most likely a identical jack on several Honda/Acura vehicles.

Just search Acura TL scissor jack on ebay plenty should come up I would imagine. Or find out what cars share the same jack and search those ones too.

it wouldnt hurt to look at other honda OEM jacks intended for heavy cars.

id imagine a v6 accord, odyssey, pilot, etc. jack would work just as well as an OEM replacement (obviously with all the precautions of using scissor jacks)

Out of curiosity, harbor freight has aluminum and steel jacks? What is the difference besides the weight of the jack? Because with the coupon, the steel jacks are cheaper. I surmise that the steel jack would last longer than the aluminum one. If you dont mind having a full size jack in the trunk.

It is mostly weight. Some say the steel jacks are more durable but I have had the 2 ton aluminum for a few years with no problem and the thing is so light it is ridiculous. Well worth the extra money over its service life.
