Look what I found on ebay..

As I searched through the ebay I found this NBP TL with ronjon wheels! Nothing special, but thought it was cool to see the TL with the ronjon wheels on it in a showroom.
here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-...QQcmdZViewItem
close the thread if it's a repost.

RonJon makes some hot wheels. I've lost count of the number of people who have commented/asked about my wheels in the year I've had them (Devotion 3pF's).

I really like the look of the legends that they are coming out with. But damn, limited to 10 sets a year. Whats up with that? I'm just gonna start putting back $30 or $40 a wek till I have enough to get them. I love the look of gunmetal wheel on an SSM!

Me personally, I hate the look off all there rims. No mean for bashing. I bought the iForged FS Trial's and I paid 3 grand 4 em alone without tires, they look AMAZING. check them out online. They are I think personally the best looking rim out there other than the Foose Speedster II Black. I got those trials Glossed black. but all in all, i dont like the style or look of any of the Ronjon rims. But the body kit looks nice.

Well Mr.Moderator, I can understand that such things can start problems, but the guy who made replied saying he spent 3-4 grand on rims is saying he hates the ronjons, so should that be allowed? Bashing some1 elses car? Also, the guy is 16, which well.. c'mon what type of 16 year old has a TL and 4 grand rims? just a thought

I will most certainly try, but I am just trying to point an error out, also dont see a problem if he admitted of his parents buying them for him (my mom and/or dad just bought me some nice $3k wheels), I would say your parents seem to be pretty cool, not (I just bought $3k rims WITHOUT TIRES)
But, as ron a said, not going to say anymore.
That car is pretty nice on ebay.

-Or-

Since he IS one of our Moderators, and does more behind the scenes than you could possibly comprehend, how about NOT arguing with him when he ASKS POLITELY for someone to alter thier tone some.

Also Mr. 7 posts, since you write a post asking about the validity while at the same time questioning someone elses validity based upon age, I have to question your true intentions and do not think your post has any merit what-so-ever.

Regardless of how old holybear is, or who paid for his ride and rims, he has some pretty sick looking rims and a good looking car. Looks kind of like everyone elses here... He wasn't bashing anyones car, he was expressing an opinion, just like you did four posts later... Now, as someone who HAS RonJons, I certainly did not take offense so who gives a flying ?

NOW BACK ON TOPIC

The listing on E-Bay is one of several that have been popping up the past few months... several dealerships are starting to sell TLs with mods already applied... Remember that there was one dealer selling a full blown Comptech TL for like 50,000.... It's nice to see the RonJons on there, but the dealer will charge way too much money (and some sucker will pay it) simply because they can get away with it... either that, or some manager is going to take them off, replace them with stockers, and put the RJs on his ride....

okay mrs. nova,
First of all that isnt called arguing, that is simply making a questionable observation. maybe within your 28 years of wasted life you never went to a public speaking class to learn what an argument is.

Okay I'm sure being a moderator can get a little annoying at times with the amount of work, but don't try to hyperbolize by saying he 'does more behind the scenes than you could possibly comprehend'. Not to bash a moderator, but it's not that hard clicking buttons and spending a few hours on a computer. 2nd, I'm sure being a moderator you enjoy what your representing and that its a volunteer job and if it ever was 'more behind the scenes' than someone could comprehend then I'm sure they would quit. And if it's not volunteer then he is getting paid by the advertisements which I would say is a pretty damn easy job.

2nd... 7posts, okay I can understand that I dont have authority on the TL when it comes to talking about performance or real-life problems, but on matters such as the topic at hand, anyone whos ever had a job can understand the absurdity of the post the 16 year old. 3gs on rims? are you kidding me, theres starving people out there.

I don't even have a TL and that is the reason of the 7 posts, I came here to get opinions and information on the TL to see if I should buy it.

You will probably go through my posts since you have nothing else to do nova, and you will see that I am talking about 20inch rims, but if you actually read the whole thing you will understand that those rims are included on the car and thus invalidating any arguement you could come up with about me contradicting myself cause theres no way in hell I would spend 3gs on something as trivial as rims.

thanks I needed a god laugh I don't care what you or anyone else spends on rims... It's your money... Stop acting like you think it is this horrible afront to you personally that he spent 3Gs on rims... noone cares except you.... Believe me, I do not care about anything youhave to say here or anywhere else so no, I think I will pass on reading any other mindless drivel you post...

Now you have decided to personally start some kind of shit with me, which is EXACTLY what Ron A was asking people not to do. There is no need to make comments like above, except of course if you are trying to be an asshole. Now I realize that spending 4+ years in Iraq, watching my friends die so you have the right to come here and say this kind of crap is no big deal to you, but it actually means something to me. When you have your friends blood all over you, so that assholes have the right to make bullshit comments about something that means nothing to noone, then please talk to me and we will continue this "questionable observation"

and just so you can have some ammo for a comeback and tell me how immature I am..

Who are you to tell anyone how to spend their money? Why dont you talk to all the ballers who spend $50,000+ on an escaldae and put a set of $10,000 set of spinners on their cars.

Even further, why are you even interested in investing money in something as trivial as a car? Why don't you buy a new Yaris and donate the money to charity?

This kid prob doesnt even have these rims and likes to act like he's got alot of money, which he prob doesnt. His age said 16, and he is obviously very immature judging by that post of his.

i dont believe anything on this board until i see pics, especially from someone with no credibility on this forum. by you having this reaction, flaming the way you did, you effectively gave him the attention he was looking for after posting like he did.

I don't really seewhat the problem is here..... when i was 16 i had a lot of money to blow... i lived at home.... the only bills i had were a credit card and cell phone bill, i lived at home.. i worked, and even though i didn't make a lot of money.. i made enough to blow it on anything i wanted to.. especially if i wanted expensive rims... ... but now, i have mortgage, car ins, health ins, cell phone, credit card(s), malpractice, life ins, cable, phone, elec, gas, etc.... not as easy as when i was 16,... now i have to be a grown up and be responsible... but anyway to get back on topic.. i am not a huge fan of the ronjons presently... although, i really do like the pics of the upcoming lineup of rims.... hurry up ron and get these out to us......

From what I hear, the new line of RJs are being produced at the rate of 10 sets per year..... Limited Quantity just took on a whole new meaning...

I think it's funny. The Ronjons on that fleebay TL are worth about 1g (18 inch) and the dealer is probably marking them up 2-3g. Not worth the price he is asking, no body kit, no tint, no CAI, no wing.

As for the kid with the 3g rims. He can get what he wants, after bending acouple on potholes I think the value of a dollar will hopefully set in.

Personally, I like my Ronjons, good looks, great price, perfect fit. If I bend one then it hurt less to replace a $345 rim than a $750 rim. The money I saved I donate to my local charities to help everybody. But I agree with drdamian, when you're young you only think about helping yourself and flashing the cash (immature). Hey, I was there too.

Yea, it was a great price. hehehe.

My kids call me the king of ebay and killer deals. Still, I figure sooner or later I'll have to replace the tires or a rim. Easier to replace a $335.00 rim versus a $750.00 rim.

Us old guys have the cash, but no need to flash it or spend it.

hey, I think our wheels are love them or hate them style, which is better than having everybody thinking of them without any strong emotions. Buit soon we will have the Legend-2pF which is limited so mucvh do to limited supplier. After that, we will bring it to the market in a cast aluminum style with a stainless steel mirror lip. Some people really want the limited run wheels so much, so we provide it until we get the cast stuff ready.

King of Pain, you seem liek the charitable type of person, just our type of customer!
