Lip-Kit.com Body Kits

Anyone ever heard of or bought a lip kit from this Toronto company...

Body Kit and Lip Kit Products

A month or so ago the prices were double for their "Fibre Reinforced Polymer".

Trying to determine if I should buy local / cheap(er) or go with a reputable (more expensive) dealer like Andy's Autosport?

Thanks in advance.

I'm willing to bet that kit isn't oem and is made out of something like fiberglass. You will most likely have fitment issues and won't be able to install it as easily like a oem set.

It says the difficulty for installing the side skirts is CHALLENGING. I find that odd because the side skirt was the easiest part of the whole kit to install (oem). That leads me to believe this kit has fitment issues and you will have to figure out how to get it to work on your on therefore it's challenging.
OEM kit runs for $750-$800 that kit is $390... spend extra money to get it painted and it'll be near oem cost but not oem quality

Yes, I believe a thread similar to this was just made a while back, with a member warning against buying it.

some people are looking for an alternative b/c of discontinued colors though, esp. for side skirts :/

I can understand their thought.

Why pay $260 + additional $200 to paint, while you can pay $150 + additional $200 to paint.

Thanks to all that replied. I think I'll do the smart / safe thing and wait out the on coming Toronto winter, save some $$$ and buy the front lip & maybe side skirts from one of Acurazine's vendors like Andy. (the rear bumper was replaced by the previous owner w/ a 2008 base lip).

HAHA! What? These jerks have been using photos of MY car on their EBay auctions for years! I told them to stop but they ignored me and I didn't make a big deal about it. And here is a pic of my car again on their website without permission. Dorks. I bet all those pics are snatched off of AZine.

So there's an indication of how they are going to deliver what they advertise. My car has an OEM A-Spec kit thank you. No "Fibre Reinforced Polymer" crap here. If they make such a great bodykit, why not show what they really sell?
