Use a butter knife or something and pry the lens off.

The doors lights are easy to get to; there are notches in the side which you use a flathead screwdriver to pry open a little bit, then use your fingers to pull them off.

Hi everybody. I'm new to this site, so this might sound off. Can anyone tell me what I need to install HID lights for Acura Tl 05? Do I just need to but the bulbs or is there anything else to it?

I didnt want to type new instructions so i took it from another site.

Disconnect your TL negative battery terminal
Disconnect and remove your stock headlight bulbs from the harness
Install the new HID light bulbs into your TL 3.2's headlights. Be sure to use clean rubber gloves or avoid touching the glass on the HID light bulbs. Dirt or oil left on the glass of the bulb could cause the xenon gas to overheat and blow up the bulb. Lock the HID light bulbs into place.
Connect the stock wiring harness from your TL 3.2 to the corresponding plug (or plugs, depending on your bulb type) on the HID Light Bulbs.
Connect the remaining 3 plugs to the corresponding plugs on the HID Ballast.
Find a place to mount the ballast where it will be stable, away from heat, and not touch any moving parts in your TL 3.2's engine bay.
Use the included installation brackets, zip ties, or double sided tape to mount the ballast in place.
Reconnect your TL 3.2's negative battery terminal.
For HID lights installed into your headlights, aim your headlights down so that the TL 3.2 HID kit will not blind others drivers in front of you. Please see your TL 3.2 owner's manual for head lamp aiming instructions. Aiming may also be necessary for HID Fog Lights.

will this be your first mod? just curious

Custom, just to clarify, the 05TL comes with stock HIDs, are you looking to change the Fogs to HIDs? or if you want a difference color, you can change the bulbs as well, without getting the HID system.

Oh, I didn't know that. So that means I just have to buy a different color?

if you really did put red, or attempting to put red, in your license plate lights, you truely are a kid....well no shit it clearly says your age is 18, but still.... you can be 18 and avoid doing childish color mods as such.

not just you, but to anyone that has or even thought about putting BLUE or RED leds in the rear license plate.

really? grow up

"but it looks so cool!!!" /facepalm

Customade, first, welcome to Acurazine.

Second, in the lower left hand corner of each posting, the middle icon is a multi-quote button. This allows you to response to more than one person in a single posting!

Cheers....
