Light Help

So im new with the whole mod scene so I need some help with my lights. I have a friend who told me some good lights to buy and all that but Im starting to get nervous that i might have screwed up a bit. I have a 2008 TL.
For the Fog Lights I got- Hipro Power Xenon HID Fog Light Bulb.
I got switchbacks from v-leds.com- Type 2 Dual Color Changing 5K White Amber 60 Turn Signal
And here is what is getting me nervous. For DRLs I got: Putco Pure 9005 Halogen Lights.

So the question I have is can I just switch the bulbs and be good to go, or do I need a kit. Any help would be much appreciated. I would like to do it myself so i can learn.

When you upgrade to real HID lights you need a kit. Anything else should be plug and play as long as get the right size.

The 9005 is correct for the DRL bulb. Plug n play.

I am looking to upgrade my lights also.

For clarification...the headlights require the kit and all others (i.e fog, DRL, etc) are plug n play?

The headlights don't require any sort of kit. If you're ordering anything other than a 35w D2S bulb then you'll need to get new ballasts to support a higher watt bulb.

Foglights, DRL's will need an HID kit along with a new wire harness if you're going the HID route. If you're staying halogen then you need nothing but the bulb.
