No and I just completed 5 hours of driving to phoenix and back the day after (another 5 hours)
Aside from almost getting pulled over while going very fast, the entire trip was very good.

do you drive w/ur left hand, and lean to the right a bit?
I duno about you, but I did that w/my accord (that sadly got totalled) and I used to get pain there, it wasn't bad, but j/annoying.. hehe.
try sitting up straight =)

I don't work with whole living people. Only portions of the living and whole dead people! I do tell other doctors what to do all the time though! Weird isn't it? I also feel obliged to inform the public when they do dumb medical decisions like visiting a chiropractor which is the modern equivalent of the snake oil peddler! Or buying expensive synthetic oil or spending 70 bucks on a dumb wax! For the first stuff you go to school for a ton of years for the other its just plain old experience and reading material that is not just commercials!

I did go to medical school and 6 years of residency, not only that I attended the worlds most famous hospital for it. You never know who's working the other keyboard do you? Plus most docs are not into advertising their proffesion, personally I consider bragging about your higher educational level in bad taste. I'd rather lay low and watch other fools make asses of themselves

I do too. I think it is a factor on how wide your ass is. If you ride up on the side bolster this might be the cause. I had this happen in my Honda Accord too. But after about two months both me and the seat adjusted to each other and the problem went away.

Back to some serious conversation:
I constantly had pain in my right leg with my old 00 TL. Adjust the seat with the front tilting up and the hip tilt down to support my thigh, and the pain went away. I have driven two long distance return trips and no pain in the 04 TL with the adjustment above. My 0.02cents.

didn't feel any kind of pain while i was test driving new TL
also I have '99 AV6 and have no pain on my legs while I'm driving
I just finished my an hour and half trip to skoo and it was great trip
I weight 205 lb and 6 ft tall

Seriously folks, no seat will fit every but to perfection. I personally think the TL, accord and TSX have come as close to butt holding perfection as you can get. BTW, BMW also makes fantastic seats and the leather is better too (Yes I've said it!!!they do have better leather!).

Unless your extremely short (5'1 or something), QUIT laying the seat so far down. I see SOO many ricers doing this and it's funny. Some can't even see over the steering wheel they got it laid so far back. Makes them look like they are 16 instead of cool. My wife is 5' and after she drives my car it looks like a kid has been in there. She has the seat back laid so far back so that the airbag won't kill her should she get in an accident. I understand but think that if she sat more upright, she would have a better chance of avoiding any such accident in the first place. Of course, I'm a man so I am wrong in her eyes!

I agree with 'ndabunka' on all the 'cool dudes' sitting cockeyed to one side with one hand slung over the wheel and peeking through the wheel & the dash. I also had some lower back pain when I first bought the car because it had tendency to let you slump a little. I pumped up the lumbar support and got the back up more straight and the back pain went away. This driving positoin puts me in a an upright with a good control of the steering wheel (at 10 & 2) and good visibility over the car. Try this and see what happens.

Ergonomics not dummies with lexuses..... Yes sit up straight pump the lumbar and hold the steering wheel at 10 and 2 very sensible indeed!!!!................must humiliate Lexus owners...... no bad smeagle, baaaaad; Hobbitses good!!! Golum, Golum!
