Ok, all you lighting gurus I have a question. I bought some off brand 7440 led turn signal bulbs for the rear signals on my 2006 base. I did the flasher relay mod, and everything worked fine. I then bought the same brand 7443 LEDs for the fronts. Installing these caused huge issues. First of all, when the lights are off and I activate signal, the parking lights flash in unison with the turn signal. So to remedy that I installed a diode on the parking light circuit by the socket. So then I try again. The signals are fine when the lights are off, no back feeding as before. However, when I turn the lights on, I get hyper flash. This makes no sense, any suggestions? I've searched and gotten no real answers. Could it be just cheap led bulbs? They were cheap but not THAT cheap. Would a higher quality bulb make a difference?
