LED conversion? meh

So I just converted my vanity, map, rear dome, and license plate lights over to LED, not the SUPER white LEDs those just white... and not really that impressed. I looked up pictures with LED conversion and all the pics make them seem brighter then they really are, and they were just White LEDs. Granted the car looks better when I unlock the doors lol, but visibility is the same, of not worst.

Is there anything I can do to increase the lighting but not make it look like Summer year round inside my car?

Thanks

Buy the correct LEDs?

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-B...22412-1-2.html

Those are plenty bright over stock. If you did purchase them from V-LEDs than IDK what to tell you.

You're the 1st to complain that's for damn sure

I got them though iJDMtoys, just because it was a package deal. I'm happy with how they look, just thought they would have been a little bit brighter, but not crazy bright. I may try those bulbs for the map lights

I'm perfectly happy with mine from superbrightleds. Brighter than most people's LEDs and all white. I have thought about upgrading to Cree LEDs so my passengers will nearly get blinded turning it on at night.

All LED pics look much brighter than they really are because it's hard to take pics of them and get the lighting correct. It's usually overexposed.

I bought mine from Ebay 8 months ago and I am more than happy with mine. They're ridiculously bright and I paid plenty less than the rest of you guys who purchased from Vleds

I think I paid less than 50$ for the ones in the door (red), two vanity, 2 rear, and 2 for reverse lights, 2 for license plate lights, and 4 or 5 spares all in white.

Haven't had any problems or anything. I even gave a couple spares to AKplaya92 for his reverse lights who says they're much brighter and better than his old ones.

There are two grades of led bulbs from IJDMToy. I bought the better ones and am happy with them. They are sufficiently bright for me. Which ones did you buy?

x2 (1 pair) Doors
x4 (2 pair) Front and Rear Domes
x2 (1 pair) front vanity mirrors
x1 rear trunk - (will have to buy a pair because they don't sell it seperately)
x2 (1 pair) in license plate lights

That's how many you need, and those are all the spots that those LEDs will be a direct replacement for.

I recommend these for your license plate lights. They will make it BRIGHT. More bright than those LEDs I linked up top.

OP >> As Viet said, buy V-LED or from SuperbrightLEDs. I replaced all of my tungsten in my previous 2008 TL with the SuperbrightLEDs bulbs and was amazed by the difference. Not only they were white but were at least twice in brightness. In my current TL I replaced my license plate and the courtesy light with V-LED and, I think, they are as good as SuperBrightLEDs if not better. I have to replace my current TL's trunk light sometime in the near future along with my reverse lights. Delaying that partially because I am being lazy and partially because I am waiting on a sale from V-LED.

Got mine from VLED... No complaints although sometimes i think it looks like a convenience store when you're inside.
