Late delivery

Very bummed about late delivery. Was supposed to get my Acura TL 5AT/navi last week, then today, now who knows when. I did all the paper work upfront, and they sure cashed the down payment check fast enough. Anyone else experienced these kind of delays?

LOL. I hade to wait almost 3 weeks. Just wait. When you do get it, it will be well worth the wait.

It's on a truck somewhere. Patience. Who knows what the driver had to do before dropping yours off.

The anticipation sucks. I had to wait almost 7 weeks. The dealer should have the VIN and should be able to tell you where the car is. Their system gets updated once a day.

Patience can be a virtue here.
What color combination did you order?

Though navis are typically harder to get than non-Navis, certain color combos are made less frequently than others. I waited 3 months a year ago for mine.

Sit tight, the wait'll be worth it!

Black on black -- didn't want to wait 3 weeks for the anthracite with black interior, though that would have been easier to keep clean, probably. Picked the black on black because it was supposed to be in last week, and I am traveling out of town on business every week in April.

I guess the long waits are why they don't deal well on pricing. Law of supply and demand, I suppose. They can't seem to keep any Navi's in stock around here.

LOL! Shoot, I think the wait would have been even longer had I chosen the manual. I was tempted, but I'm an old gal of 45 and should be past my racing days. Plus the sport shift on the auto seemed like it might be the best of both worlds for a geezer like me.

I waited 2 full months for mine since they had to special order my combo. Just hang in there and read up on your car in the menatime.

Not an old gal.. If it makes you feel better, listen to this one.. The day I was supposed to pick up my car, the salesman called me and said that my car was backed into.. Imagine that !!. On top of that, it was a lie. I found out that he made a mistake and ordered the wrong car!!

Along the same lines, if the dealer gives you a build date say April 1, 2005. When can I expect the car to arrive in California?

How dare you? At 54 I'm almost 10 years older than you. I'm neither old, a geezer nor past my racing days...hopefully a little smarter though. The sport shift is a great substitute. Hope you car shows up soon.
