I just put my deposit down on a Black TL with Black leather, I'm pretty excited. I didn't buy the spoiler or body kit, they were very over priced at the dealer. I'm thinking I can get it alot cheaper on my own and paying for installation separately.

 

congrats!!! you can definitely find the spoiler and bodykit cheaper elsewhere. depending on how comfortable you are working on your car the install for the bodykit is pretty simple.

 

Not is not 100% true. I got body kit and spoiler on mine, I just worked it onto the final price. I walked out with the kit, spoiler, moonroofvisor, and body side molding....for 32,946...non navi of course, but IMO still a good deal!

 

...or a body shop could put them on. Almost definitely less costly than what most dealers are charging.

DMZ- Actually Acura of Manhattan came through at 32,999 so I just went with it.

how long did you negotiate to get 32,575 Leostaats? is this including destination? who is the dealer? are sales tanking or is the supply greater than the demand now?

 

The car is just as listed ... no spoiler.. th eonly extra is the cargo mat or any accecory under 150.00 I chose the mat. Nothing really to do with supply demand in general. I did an online sales quote and one of the dealers had called me to ask me to come in.. told him I wasnt playing the come and demo fall in love and buy game. I submited an online quote because I wanted a price online. He said well since your local it would be 500 over invoice so isaid ok. That dealer only had one, so I contacte Rick Case Acura and told Dayton Diaz that another dealer promised me 500 over. Naturally they said no way get it in writing and of course no dealer will really give you too much in writting. So I pretended to have called them to get the proof then I called back the other dealer (Rick Case) and said the other guys told me to come on down they have 4 to choose from. Thats when Rick Case toild me theyd do that deal for me and throw a little something extra in.. It actually all took place in one afternoon (maybe 1.5 hrs.). Ironically I wasn't ready to purchase since I had a trade I wanted to sell so that was two weeks ago and now they have given me enough for my trade that I wont have to sell it on my own and tomorrow is "T"Day for me 12:00 sharp. Hope tthis helps. Im sure if you call they will claim no way or whatever since they dont want to give them away but just play the dealers games and it will happen. Let me know

DMZ-I went to Acura of Manhattan in person, cause i work in the city and told them that Paragon Acura offered to sell for 33,120, they called the sales manager over and he said he would do $32,999. I figured I was tired of going from dealer to dealer and that 32.9 was good enough for me and more convenient than Curry or Paragon.

 

Did that price include the $545 destination fee?

 

Yes it included everything except taxes and title.
