Switchblade key - FLBUSA
Has anyone recieved any kind of response from FLBUSA (Pete) within the past week or after buying a key? I bought a key a week ago through paypal and have not heard any response after 2 e-mails. All I need is some confirmation and/or some reassurance that I will actually get the key.

yeah i talked to him the other day. Seemed like a nice guy. I think he has too much on his plate. I just filed for a paypal escalated dispute today. I just want my money back. I'd rather give it to Acura of Oakland. Just file for a paypal dispute. If not I doubt you'll get your key anytime soon. I'd almost bet money on it.

FLBUSA, will gladly refund your money. No need to dispute with Paypal.

I'm not sure. I've called him twice, both times he's answered the phone and spoke very politely to me. On the 2nd call, I mentioned i found somewhere else to get the key, and that I would just like a refund. Within 20mins, I had my refund in paypal account.

I had a very good experience with Peter, he answered his phone the first time I called and while I was on the phone with him he sent me a tracking number and I got the key two days later. He was very polite and is a very busy guy, I can relate.

Ok it's official. Pete is no longer selling keys. Got my refund a little bit ago. Here is what his comment was on the refund.
FLBusa.com (kratschp@yahoo.com) has issued you a full or partial refund for your payment.

Well, that sucks FLBUSA isn't doing it anymore! I just recieved my key today! I actually was able to get it CUT and Programmed for FREE! I'm quite excited, the Acura Dealership here was nice to do that. They were surprised to see a switchblade key made for the 3G TL. They key & Functions all work perfectly! Hmm maybe I will order a blank from Oakland and get the measurements off of it, I have a cnc mill, cnc lathe, and cnc machine in my garage as with more at my work. I just ordered mine from FLBUSA for convenience, maybe I can pump these out at a cheaper price. It is just a thought, if I do pursue this I will become a vendor here, just thought I'd toss that in so the mods don't get mad.

Yeah I recieved the same paypal message a long with the refund. Unfortunate that he has decided to stop making the keys. At least he was cool enough to refund everyone without any hassle. So how do we go about getting our hands on a key now? Is this Oakland dealer the only one who has/had them?

i just got word they are OUT STOCK! I think they were getting them from FLBUSA.. So it looks like these keys are going to be a rarity!

I told you guys he would refund without a problem! And yes, Oakland Acura are out of stock. After I ordered mine and mentioned it on the site.... I believe i forwarded at least 15 others to Oakland to get keys. I do believe that they were getting them from FLBUSA, however, I'm not totally sure. Someone posted earlier that Oakland Acura stated they could get their hands on as many as they needed..... Good Luck everyone!
