Just got back from the Dealership...

and my father really worked hard to get a final price of $31,700.

This is for the 2004 TL without Navi but with the protection package. We are very close to making a deal, is this a good price?

I guess that depends where you live and the area's supply. I live in North Jersey and my local dealer had over 100 TL's in stock, so I paid $30,710 for mine (White auto w/o navi) about two weeks ago. They tried to get me to pay another $300 for the protection package, but I told them I didn't want it. However, when I picked it up, it had the protection package on it. My dealer installs the protection package on all the TL's when he takes delivery, so basicaly everybody gets it, some just pay for it. Hope that helps.

I'd say for California it's a pretty good price. I got mine for 31780 in Pleasanton, CA.

STaylor.. which dealership did you purchase your vehicle from? Are you satisfied with the dealership? And did you try different dealerships? which one do you recommend and which one should I stay away from.

Park Ave dealership emailed me with a price quote of $30,300 non navi. He responded to one of those internet price quote request thing.

What I really want is 6 speed with navi...

thanks for your help

Can you take the protection package off, or do they drill holes to screw the flaps in?

A trunk protection liner, wheel locks, and mud flaps.

I do not like the look of the mud flaps so if they were to install them I would have to take them off.

parkkuen... I bought mine from Open Road of Acura in Wayne, NJ. I was in and out in 30 minutes, inclduing a test drive. I basically told them I didn't want to sit there and crunch numbers all day. I took the guys calculator, crunched my own numbers, and gave him an out the door pirce I would pay and told him not a penny more. He came back with a price a little higher than I was willing to pay, so I got up and put my jacket on and said I was going to go to Montclair Acura to see if they could do better on the price, once he heard that, he went to see the manager again and came out and said we got a deal. He knew I was going and he knew montclair would beat their price. I probably could of went to montclair and got it a little more cheaper, by playing each dealer against each other, but I thought I had a pretty good deal so I was content, plus Im closer to this dealer and bought cars in the past from them and was always satisfied with thier service. I know that they weren't really budging on the Navi models though, they only have a few of those in stock and they are in demand.
