I think the time has come :(
Well fellas, I thnk I have reached a point in my life where I can't justify having 2 cars. It really sucks but what can ya do? Soon, I'll be selling my baby but what do you think I could get for it? Would I be better off parting it out and returning it to stock?
She's an 04' with 40xxx miles. I bought the car with 38k, took ridiculously good care of it, replaced pressure switches and all that. It's been garaged it's whole life too...

Cheers

Whats your other ride?
and how long have you had her? (The TL)
Suite picture!
and what kind of wheels are those!?
and super low miles for an '04!
If I were to buy it, with your current mods I'd offer you around 11 give or take.
but thats just what I would offer.
your car is probably in as great condition as my '06 with 56k miles, seeing its been garaged and babied its whole life.
I would want to sell mine as high as possible because of this.
and I hope you get that 12 or 13k!

too bad, that car is clean.
I would put it back to stock (obviously leaving the a-spec lip kit on) and sell it that way for 14k, and I'd probably accept 13k from someone if they offered it to me.
Then I'd turn around and sell those wheels, tires, and exhaust kit separately.

40,000 miles? Wow.... That thing is clean.
I agree that you should put it back to stock. Since it has low miles I'm sure you will be able to get a good chunk of change for it without the parts. With the parts you would really have to find the right buyer.

Good point..
I can understand not being able justify owning 2 vehicles. I recently sold my pickup due to gas prices and getting tired of fixing it. Very clean looking TL you have there. Whoever buys it will be lucky to own such a fantastic car.
If you're selling it to a dealer part it out for sure. A private buyer will give you more money for it with all the aftermarket parts. When I traded my TL in the dealer didn't even pop the hood.
I thought the mileage on my 04 was low at 47K! Clean ride!
You'll probably have an easier time selling it if you part it out. Dealers always lowball you on modded cars, and most private owners will want a stock car to make their own. You'll have to find the right buyer to appreciate the mods and pay what they're actually worth. I say part it out and sell the parts in the BM.
GLWS!

Thanks for the love everyone. I'll miss this car..
Yes well I think she has 41k on her now, for 3k lol.
Yeah I don't know man the jeep is a solid performer the 4.0 inline 6 are known to go 200-300k with regular maintenance so that's what I'm shooting for!
Actually that is something that I didn't do. I'll inform the new owner when she sells, though.
Thanks man. And of course the tails are OEM! like sportscenter says, C'MON MANNN!

. I purchased my 04 TL 66k miles for $12k, six months ago. I bet you could get $13k-$15k no problem.
