When I was cleaning the car, I've noticed this ugly thing in the back seat. Has anyone seen this? Well, I am not going to cry about it, but it is very visible.

Is it misaligned? It's hard to tell in that pic and I have Ebony Int so I don't notice that same thing

I am not sure what they are for. There are holes like those in each seat. My guess is that something didn't fit well, so they put a lot of force into it and ended up damaging a cheap plastic layer.

Visit the dealer and get it checked/replaced. I do not have those types of holes.

I think some of that is supposed to be there to allow the bottom of the magazine pocket to move outward, but yours is much more noticable than mine (see pic).

I'd have to look closer at mine to see if I have the same thing.. actually, hold on................................................ .........................

Yeah I've got the same thing, it's just harder to see with Black interior. The holes are outlined with a metal piece so I think it's supposed to be there, probably a pivot point for the plastic pouch

Yes. They look very ugly as there are 4 sets of those. There is no way I will be driving up to NJ, so I will take care of this at a local dealer. Do you think local dealers will give me a hard time about this because I didn't buy the car from them?

They shouldn't. Warranty service is warranty service, and they get paid either way.

What are you expecting them to do??? Especially if those are the points that the map pocket things arms extend out to?

To be honest with you, I don't really care-I leased my car. 34 months from now, I will be driving something else.

Just put some magazines in the pockets, and they'll extend out. I'd recommend the Car & Drivers with TL articles, and the Playboy with the TL review.
