How to wire Type S foglights to Base 04-06

Hello Ziners,

Was wondering if any of you done a conversion from 04-06 (Base) to a full (bumper, lip, foglights, grill) conversion 07+ Type S

I also, want to know how hard is it to install OEM TYPE S foglights on the Base 04-06 TL. And what brand of HID kits.

All inputs are welcome, and btw I did search the Threads, didn't find the exact solution what I'm looking for...

Help.......

Thanks in advance

Wrong section...
But it's been done. I believe the hardest part of installing foglights would be the wiring. Everything else is easy.

You can use any HID kit.
Our vendors can help you with a kit...
lately there has been a lot of talk about the DDM Tuning Raptor kits.

I believe the bulb size is H8? Can someone correct me on that?

The bulb is the H8.

I did a full Base 07-08 nose conversion on my 05 3G, with HID kit too.

I used a HC Hilights brand fog light wiring kit, with a universal switch in the cabin. I recommend using a good quality wiring kit that comes with a relay/fuse, similar to what I used. It was a piece of cake.

Y not go with the accord fog conversion and the a-spec front lip, looks great and still looks oem. this is what i did with mine. Type S grills, accord fogs, HID kits in the stock fogs and accord fogs, and independently wired stock fogs.

Why don't you read before you post.. he clearly said "ACCORD FOGS ON THE A-SPEC KIT AND TYPE-S GRILL"

collezione - the others are correct if you have the oem fogs the bulb size is H8, if you have the ebay accord fogs, the bulb size is H11. I also just bought the ddm tuning hid kit and I love it! For $40 you really cannot go wrong. Also I noticed you went from a 6spd to an auto? That sucks.....

Oh one more thing, if you are buying the ddm kit I noticed some members said their 8000k looks like 6000k......I cannot confirm this yet since I have not finished installing mine. They are all hooked up and I tested them but I did not have them on long enough to really tell. So now I am wondering if I should have gone with 8000k since I wanted 6000k????

Does anyone else have the ddm tuning hid kit that wants to comment on this?

To each his/her own but IMO you don't want it bluer than the 6000K ddm bulb.

^ yea, I agree which is why I was scared to get the 8000k's I am just trying to get them to match my headlights which are 6000k. I realize they are different and will not match perfectly, I am just trying to get a close match. My kaixen 6000k hid's match my switchback led's almost perfectly....love em! We'll see what the ddm tuning kit looks like.....

To be honest Carrielynn, I was gonna chance it...but $35 bucks for some DS2 bulbs from DDM tuning...I figured it was a good move to get them all from the same shipment and probably production line. Hopefully the Kaixen ones will match perfectly too!
