What happens if you attempt to do this with an 07-08 TL and you've got the "one touch start" system?

Long ass breaker bar did it for me - like 5 feet long. I had to sit on the sucker and bounce up and down multiple times before it finally gave. Sounded like a shot from a 9mm when it finally popped. Have a 6MT though. I think there are certain precautions that have to be considered for an auto? Not sure.

What also works like magic is heating the bolt up using a propane torch. No, don't go getting or trying to get it all red hot as you don't want to roast the main seal or anything like that.. Just give it about two minutes to get the bolt really warm/hot then use your bar on it again and it should come out real easy.

^none of these have worked for me I finally just gave up. I was just going to try and replace it for piece of mine. But once it comes up on the dash I'll go for round 2.

I have done this on one car before but I have had friends do it for short period and it burn up the seal. Hate to cause more work on my beautiful TL. Haha.
