I just paid $815 for my A-Spec kit from a dealership. Is that a good price? How much did everyone else pay?

 

What part of the kit are you refering to, just the body parts? The full kit including wheels, suspension, body work, etc. is 5-8k depending on the dealer. For just the body pieces I've found uninstalled but painted $1000-1200. There are a bunch of people's experiences here a-spec kit price regarding what they paid for the wheels, suspension, full kit, etc.

 

I'm pretty sure he means the lip kit, I dont think any dealer would give aspec suspension or wheels for 800...

815 is a pretty good deal for the aspec, did you get the decklid lip spoiler as well? That would make it an amazing deal. Group buys on here are usually around $799

 

$815 is a decent price. Most A-ziners jump on the group buys ($799) offered by Tim at hondacuraworld- a vendor on this site.

but i picked up mines locally for $716.84 due to the fact that i live in the state of
Texas.

 

i got mine for less then 550 total. i got em all at different times tho. i got the front slightly used, no scratches for 150 from an old azine member, the sides were brand new for about 190 shipped and the type S rear brand new for 190 shipped both on ebay.

i didnt really like the aspec rear for the 04-06 so i didnt get the full kit. (i didnt hate it but i didnt really like it) there was no use to get the side skirts if i just had the front on so i didn't get the side skirts until i got the type S rear about 2 years after i had the front lip on.

699 shipped is a damn good deal to not have to buy it piece by piece.

I think I'm gonna buy the rear and sides for tl-s, and wait for the ronjon front lip if it ever comes out....im so pissed that no one has yet to make a new front lip for tl-s.

If I purchased the A-spec kit for an 04 TL auto base (with some bumper damage), do you think any dealership would paint any bumper free of charge if I purchased the oem bumper installed and unpainted??

HIGHLY doubt it nevets they dont do shit for free....if u go to manhattan acura...like I do for service...... u can try if they wanna charge u full price for it....but I know everyone there and Id have to say close to impossible.

Yeah he increased his price. He had to increase the price of shipping because it was more than he originally estimated. (you guys who jumped on this 1st lucked out and got the $699 price!)

Price of the kit by itself is around $662 and then about $90-$100 shipping. I don't know how it's become $775? Maybe it went up again. I guess he figures as long as he undercuts Tim he's good. Still best price you can find. Get em while you can!

$815 is pretty great from a dealership OTD. HondaAcurdWorld is like $843 when there is no group buy, but us NYers gotta pay like $80 in tax...

on my last car? the Aspec kit cost.... umm... $0 ... had an accident and the body shop got me a free kit

 

Steve is a dealership too and his price is ATD (At the door) You could save yourself $50 for the same thing, and save more money by installing it yourself.

If you just want to buy the pieces you can get the front spoiler for 2 something from most local dealers if you can't wait.

I'm about to buy the set but I only want it if it's in stock somewhere. I can get it for $777 shipped from my dealer but I don't want to wait for them to order it.

i dont like the a spec lip (front) at all. ive been keeping in touch with rondy at ron jon & it sounds like there's no plans right now for developing a lip kit. all their money is tied up in wheels. so who knows when or IF any other lip kit will be made.

 

what if you were in the dealership, negotiating to BUY or LEASE the car - and the aspec body kit was a thing you wanted to put on the car. assume the car you wanted dind't have it preinstalle.d so you negotiate on buying the car with a condition of purchase being that the aspec kit is ordered/installed.

how cheap could you get them to give you for a price on it - ordered AND installed?

think you could get them to go even UNDER $700 to buy the car? given how bad sales are, I wonder if you could get them to do it for free..... and let them just eat the cost.

bet someone might do it.

 

most acura dealers would probably go as low as like $1200 installed.. maybe $1100 if your a good negotiater
