How to install TL-S side markers?
I have a pair of TL-S smoked side markers that I want to install. Do I basically pry off the red side makers with a flat head and disconnect the bulb/connector and connect the TL-S one? I know the TL-S one requires some effort to make it fit as the connector is different. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.
thx

For the rear...
Go into your trunk and pull the lining off from the side you want to replace. It may be held on by one or two clips. Then, disconnect the wire harness, pop the stock one out, put the new one in and reconnect the wire harness. Should take no longer than 15 minutes.

i just did this myself. Here are a few tips.
Those 2 clips that are on the side of the trunk lining, the one with the peg and grommet, watch out those are a pain in the butt. Mine didn't have a slot so what i ended up doing was unscrewing the cargo net pegs and pulling the liner enough to reach in and hit the clips for the light.
the TL-S is a 3 prong but only has 2 prongs in the plug, the one that we have is a 2 prong connector, what i did was plugged it in but angled it. Went right in, pushed it all the way, tested with locking the door and pushed it in.
push firmly because the foam needs to be pushed in before the clips can clip properly.
Enjoy.
