How do you remove the blinker covers on side mirrors?
Hi, I want to tint the side mirror blinkers on the 07+08 TL's. Does anyone know how to remove the clear plastic on them so I can tint it without having to leave it on the car? Thanks

To remove the cover is easy, just 2 or 3 screws on the bottom of the side mirror housing, take them out and pop the housing out, then there is 1 screw or 2 that holding the led light on to the lens housing.

you sir are a liar. i just fucked up my enter mirror trying to do this and got NO WHERE!!!!!!
I have a 08-S I took am interested in knowing how to take the mirror housing apart... Would be slick to change the bulbs to superwhite LEDs however, mine seem to be a strip of LED's... Besides they are only on when turning...
Tinting the inside of the lenses would be nice rather than smoking them...

behind the mirror are clips holding the glass in place. Put a flat tip screw driver behind the mirror glass and twist slowly and it should pop off. After that i believe there are two screws that hols the light bar in place. In order to change the color of the leds, you need to cut open the housing, *I did this*. But in order to tint it, it will take some work and will most likely be better off just keeping it attached and place the tine on while it is still on the housing.
