Angry How Bad is This?

So I buy a 05 TL yesterday out of state. Check the fluid before I bought it before I purchase it. Fluid was perfectly pink/red. The problem is I did not check the level because I was not real sure the procedure to check it...running, not running, in neutral, ect.

I check the procedure today and do the correct check and it is about 3/4ths of an inch up past the full marker. I drive it 200 miles yesterday and 40 today. I am hoping the dealer changed it right before I bought it. I have parked it until I can find fluid to replace it when I drain it.

Question...how bad is this? Fluid still looks good and seems to change gears ok. Fluid is not foamy. I am freaking out.

Thanks in advance.

It will be fine as it wasn't aerated, so just drain or suck some of the excess out. Looks like the dealer or someone recently changed the fluid or it wouldn't be red in color.

I think I will try to get it sucked out. I have visioned in my head a big syringe the a hose at the end. I feel like I have seen one somewhere...I just don't remember where.

u will be fine ... a little extra shouldnt cause you any problem ... sucking it out would be more accurate than trying to drain it from the bottom

Large syringe used to mix oil/gas for 2-stroke engines. WallyWorld near the gas cans.

Turkey baster.

I am using the above "Flavor Injector" with a fish tank hose. Working pretty well so far. Don't think I would want to use as a substitute for a drain and fill.

Lazy (which it probably took more of my time), and did not want to drop $30 in trans fluid for Mobile1 when I want to put Redline in it. No Redline dealers in my area so I had to order it online and did not want to drive it while it was on order.

Good fluid choice. As long as it shifts ok, no need to worry. The worst that would happen is leaks around the axle seals and you would have noticed that by now.
