So your car is mix of Canadian and US. I got a Canadian TL and I want XM antenna installed just like US model. I changed Navigation to US mode and lost couple of features. Since you can change Navi between Canadian and US, I wonder how come they didn't make trip computer to change between the two.

That's pretty good number you are getting, mario. It looks like you are doing mostly highway driving.
I am getting 14-15l/100km so its not even 20MPG. My automatic shifts at 3000RPM and it still does that.

When stating fuel mileage, could everyone please state their odometer reading?
I've found that my fuel mileage has increased (especially highway) over time.
Thanx

I have gotten 40 MPG on a staight away doing 55-60 MPH, right after a fill up.
30-33 MPG doing 76-80 MPH
Mixed highway/city, my usual driving I get 26-27 MPG
City stop/go 20-22

80/20 mixed city/hwy ~23mpg , this also includes a few fun spins around the block. I only have 400 miles on the car and have not driven on the hwy yet. I also have a 6MT.

dude, how are most of you guys getting such great city mileage...my city is like josie1...i'm lucky if I get 18 mpg in city...is there anything wrong with my car? i don't think I drive that aggressively. I rarely take it above 3000rpm.

20 percent hwy w/o driving on hwy?? i know it must be hard, but NO FUN SPINS until 600 miles!
I'm getting 25-27~ mixed, as in both city/hwy & spirited/conservative driving... this is also in MI where all roads are straight and flat. 6MT, and @ 4800 miles.

I think the 600 miles is just a guideline. As long as my "stints" are not very frequent or any kind of long duration, the car should break in fine. I broke in my 2000 C5 and 2001 Prelude the same way and I had no problems with my cars.

My in-town driving (work and otherwise) averages between 26 and 27 MPG in the warmer months and around 25 in the winter.
On Sunday, I drove to Fredericksburg, VA. Air temperature was in the mid to upper 80's, mostly running at 62 MPH, and I used the A/C the whole way. My mileage was 32 MPG.
'04 Anthracite/Ebony/6MT/Nav with 14,400 miles on it.

my mpg sux, but who cares, i don't, i just drive the snot out of if and run it, i take good care of it as well. If i wanted mpg, i would have bought it. But i will say, the mpg on the highway is fantastic, don't keep stats, just know its better mpg on highway than the city. My commute is about 10 miles one way to work, so the only time i get to stomp on it is on the hwy, mph average 85 -90 .

I am very pleased with my overall mileage / performance results on the '05 5AT TL.
I commute 36 miles total / daily. 18 Miles city + 18 Miles on expressway / daily. My Total miles weekly average 220. My TL is 4 months old with 3478 miles. Tire pressure is 34f 32r.
My average MPG / Tank is 25MPG.
Lowest observed City was 22MPG.
Highest observed HGWY was 34MPG.
I use 91 Octane (Hess).
Considering the engine's performance and ULEV2 emissions, I am impressed with those numbers. I was just discussing this with my nephew, who recently aquired a Scion tC 5 speed that averages 22MPG in similar drives. Obviously, VERY different rides, but you would have thought the 5 speed 4 banger would excel in economy. Likewise, the TL meets the family 4cyl Camry (same engine as the Scion) in econmomy, but far exceeds the performance. I can see the 'balance' Acura was aiming for with the TL performance / economy stats.

WHEN I drive my TL to work (which has only been twice in the last three months), I NEVER take it out on the superhighways (as in route 66) more than absolutely necessary. I drive though Manassas both to and from work which means business and mostly residential areas. I do this to protect my windshield and paint from rocks and stones and such.
Doing this, I average 26-27 MPG in the warm months and 25 in the colder months.

Calgary Canada - 1000m(3000ft) altitude.
City driving [20% stop and go, 50% of 25MPH, 30% of 50MPH]
12L/100km(20MPG) - if I'm extremely gentle on gas (shift at 2500RPM)
14L/100km(17MPG) - if I go on fun driving (shift at 4000RPM)
20L/100km(12MPG) - if I drive like racer (shift at 6000RPM)
Numbers are ridiculously low. Maybe it's altitude or something wrong with no name gas I'm using.
