WTF! I drove pass that intersection couple of nights ago. Hope it is not anyone here. They covered the seats with a blanket, they must have been crushed.

I think Cities should be held liable for dangerous intersections. We just had a co-worker killed at a dangerous intersection where I live.

There are plenty of blind spots that I drive thru on daily basis... I yeild, and slowly proceed... I'm not a daredevil...

Better drivers will lead to safer driving....

I can't even imagine how fast the guy in the Mercedes must have been going to slice the TL in half... I would assume that it could definetly withstand a great force but he must have been flying... funny, though that the Mercedes didn't look all that bad...

yea but ill tell u this much that hill is notorious for assholes blowing the light and speeding from one light to the next, its about a half mile stretch. and dot set it up so u cant catch the second light unless ur going 120mph.....no joke you gotta be smashing the gas to catch it. I hope the same Dr it's a shame

I drive through that very intersection every couple of weeks with my next pass-through coming up tomorrow. I grew up in that neighborhood. My mudda still lives near there and it's only a few blocks from where I went to high school. The Mercedes had to be cruising at at least 100 MPH to cause that kind of damage. Unfortunately, he wasn't the one killed. Remember, the 3G TL's side impact rating isn't 5 star. Hopefully, the folks at Acura will see this and dwell on it the next time they design side impact safety.

My deepest sympathies go out to the families of the TL occupants.

DAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNN. The video said that after the TL was hit by the Mercedes, it hit a guard rail support, so that's probably where a lot of the damage came from. To the people in the TL:

it appears the pole there sliced the TL, the benz push the moving tl sideways into the pole, a holllow space vs. a 2 foot thick redlight pole, the pole will win. Any car would have split right there. May the 2 people dead RIP. also I hope the person who caused this and took the lives of two gets punished.
