My wife and I are purchasing a new 2006 TL, but we can't decide what color to get. We are torn between the Anthracite Metallic and the Royal Blue Pearl, both with the grey interior. Does anybody out there have any suggestions or recommendations for or against either color or how either color might help or hurt resale value? We are purchasing tomorrow (Jan 2) so any help would be appreciated! They have both colors in stock. Thanks!!

Anthracite metallic is the most popular color, for good reason. It looks great. But, if you want to be more distinctive, then go with the blue if you like it, because you don't see very many of them on the road.

Either one will be a great choice, but not an outstanding choice, like my WDP.

Hard to tell, but the resale value might be better with the anthracite, but who knows what color will be popular when you are ready to sell or trade.

WDP!!!!! with some tinted windows can't be beat! And that comes from someone who doesn't like white cars.

 

Search around the other nearby dealerships to see if anyone's got a Day-Glo Orange TL in stock. If not, then I guess it's okay to settle for the Anthracite.

I vote for Royal Blue Pearl. My freind has a RBP TL and its looks stunning in all types of lighting conditons. At night it seems as if it was black. I like Anthracite too, but you really cant go wrong with either.

 

Anthracite. Though it WOULD be interesting to see a TL in "Pimp Daddy Gold" as suggested above. Oh, and welcome to the site.
