Help!! New to the trip computer

So I see that my tl has a trip computer. What does the number on the screen represent?? Should I be worried if the numbers increase

OP, you don't need to post each question you have in a new, single thread. You can post every question you have in one thread.

This^^

Or you can use the search function, or search through Google. All of your questions have been answered a bunch of times.

This question can probably be answered by that book in your glovebox.

For example I never get on a freeway and my range will show 270 miles after fill up, but if I get on a freeway range instead of staying still will start count up up and up and after 50 miles on a freeway range will show 400 miles and only then will begin countdown.

I'm pretty sure the TL's trip "computer" works the same as every other odometer. The numbers increase as you travel more miles. Or am I missing something?
