Help needed

I pulled the headlights to replace the turn signals and I got thinking....I want to remove the yellow reflector from the housing but not sure if it's possible? I noticed an odd looking bolt holding in the main beam what is that by chance? Does anyone have a link to a DIY thread to remove that yellow piece?? Also what size spacer would I need an factory wheels to get rid of that awful sunk in wheels look??any help is appreciated, thanks.

The yellow reflector/diffuser can be removed. You have to open the headlights and pull off the little plastic tabs and it should come right out.

I've heard people run 10mm front, 15mm rear all the way to 20mm front, 25mm rear.

thanks east coast guy!!
i finally found that thread and started it tonight, caution when pulling out the yellow make sure you clip the little metal pieces behind the reflector off. i didn't with the first on and it broke in the corner. super glued it back on and sprayed over it to mask the imperfections. lesson learned for the 2nd housing and piece of cake will get them back on tomorrow after the first set of football games. baking at 200 degrees no pre heat for 20 minutes was perfection

oh and one other thing does that bag need to stay in the housing?? you can see it in the second pic of that thread. looks like a silicone bag you find in other products to keep fresh. what purpose does it serve??

It's a silica pack.

It collects moisture.
The same thing they put in backpacks and shoe boxes.

yea I figured it was in there for a reason so I left it. I didn't follow directions well enough and I broke the rounded end of the housing before pushing out the yellow diffuser. I did the same on the other on purpose just so their matching. painted the black housing a gun metal and the rest black. liked the way it came out but searching the pick a parts for another set to fix my mess up. pretty straight forward and thanks for the links and help.
