I would go with HID but careful not to blind oncoming traffic.

The heat sinks get hot, but the bulb runs pretty cool.

I have similar bulbs for my DRL and the OEM bulbs melt ice fast whereas the LEDs don't melt the ice at all.

The only way not to blind traffic with HID's in the fogs is to cover the front of the bulb so its just reflecting in the housing. Otherwise you will annoy other drivers, which tends to be a common thing and people dont care.

Its probably because you need to adjust your headlights and yes it can be an issue as you may blind someone and they crash into you or others.

Agree with EvilVirus, really important you verify your headlights and adjust them if they're not ok! I never get flashed in the TL and see the road just fine, and that's perfect like that.

I get flashed constantly for having just my low beams on, no fogs or any other lights on the car, I don't know why. I never meet any other TL's at night so I don't know how bright they are to other drivers, I've always thought they lit up the road pretty well though, minus the fogs which do next to nothing compared to other cars that I've had.

the TL beam properly aim isn't blinding at all, I think you must meet those people who thought the Automotive industry still use halogen standard. I got flash several time for a stock bulb and the headlight aim that way since it leave Marysville OH.

In my '04 I went with a 3k 35w HID kit. I think I'll upgrade the stock HIDs to 55w over winter for the low/highs, but I also live in a rural area with a ton of animals trying to make themselves my hood ornaments at night time.

I have Nokya Yellows in my foglights

I can vouch for the one "Frosty" was advertising by gtlightingusa because it's what I use in my DRL

I see gtlightingusa no longer exists, but you can find the exact same "cree 2400" lumen bulbs on ebay.

The best way to go LED is to get the sealed LED unit from Morimoto. This would be safe and look cool as well. Yes, you would be replacing the whole unit but I assume it is otherwise plug and play.

Too bad they don't have a compatible kit for the 3G Tl unlike the TSX

I got some and they didn't fit so threw them on an 09 Accord. They're definitely sexy

Oh really ...... I assumed that all Honda / Acuras used similar equipment. That's a shame. Glad that you were able to use it for the Accord.

I went with 6000k VLEDS and i love them, direct fit, no rewiring or extra load that comes from HIDs
they were 75$ each, very bright (850 lumen?)

$75 per bulb? That's a bit much.

I decided to reuse my current HID kit since it won't cost me anything. Gonna wait a bit for a better LED solution for fogs.
