Alright guys, its between a BRAND NEW Valentine 1 radar detector, not a used older one. Or custom taillights from our vendor on here. What do you guys think....

Tails. Your sig says you already have a radar detector. Plus, if you pay attention, you don't need a radar detector.

I had a Passport X50 for a good while. Great radar detector. It'd catch cops shooting away from me from half a mile out. It finally died with my radio and my scanner when the electrical system in my old car blew. I never replaced it.

Why?

Cause I still got 2 tickets for 10 over with it. Cops use laser now. By the time your detector sees the laser, the laser's seen you. Nothin' you can do about it.

If you must speed, toss the detector and get yourself a radar rabbit. Let someone else who's speeding travel in front of you. Match their speed. Cop'll hit them first and already be going for him by the time you pass the trap. Of course, if they have an organized VASCAR sting up, this won't help you at all. Best solution is not to speed more than 9 over.

Get the tails. More and more cops are switching to laser now.

V1 or 8500 X50

The X50 used is kind of cheap now a days. I paid $225 for a 8500 1 1/2 - 2 year ago.

A radar detector doesn't always save your ass. I got a ticket with my Passport X50 when I was 16 because I got hit with a laser gun.
