Exclamation HELP!!! 07 tl type s...will my suspension ever be the same????

so the day before thanksgiving, someone tired to merge into the highway i was on. he didnt see me and came right into my lane, i went to the next lane over, but so did he, he hit me right on the rear passenger rim. the good thing was that no one was hurt (cept my tl... ) and the other driver took responsibility for the accident right away. he immediately came out of his car and said he didnt see me and asked if i was okay. anyway, after that, my allignment was terrible and the bodyshop said they had to replace a knuckle in the suspension, not to mention gettin me a new rim, atleast it was all paid for by the other guys insurance. im tryin to see if i can talk them into replacing my bumper with an apsec one instead of the oem one. my main question is, this is my baby, WILL MY SUSPENSION EVER BE THE SAME?!?!?!?!
i guess u guys want pics to help answer dat
the body shop has this really cool service where they update my cars status with pics, so see da damage for yourself.

It's always a worry.

If you've got a good shop, it'll be good as new.

Good luck on talking them into putting an A-Spec bumper on your car. I don't see that happening.

Are you Sikh? I noticed the sticker on your back window.

I wouldn't worry. Two years ago I spun out on a hill, due to snow/ice, and cracked my right side into the curb. I bent both my rims to the point of replacement and I had to replace my front right suspension. I had Acura fix my car and it was perfect after the repair. In fact, when I got the car new my alignment was off, or at least my steering wheel wasn't at center. However, after the accident repair the alignment was spot on and the wheel dead center.

Like somebody else said, it all depends on the body shop, if they are a reputable place theres no need to worry. If its the cheapest place you found then there might be something to worry about.
