Hi, I've heard on several posts of 04' TL headliners falling down. Has this issue been fixed/resolved for the 05'? Does any 05' owner have this problem (yet)?

 

Yes - the 05 headliner is secured better in the front and back of the moonroof than the 04.

 

It should be fixed since they have come out with a TSB regarding that problem...so for the 05's coming from the factory, they should already have those extra clips installed....

 

No problems with mine.

 

They fixed it in the late 04's. Mine doesn't have ANY of the problems people have talked about. With the exception of the rattly passenger door pocket; but thats no biggy. (And I got mine in June 04)

No problem with the headliner in my 04 either. I do have one of the late builds, however; September 18, 2004. My only gripe is the crappy Bridgestone tires.

 

No problem with my headliner i have a 05

 

My "04 TL was built in March and I don't have any problem with the headliner or rattles. My only gripe is buttprints in the leather which should be resolved soon with new '05 style covers providing the dealer installs them properly. I love this car!!!!!!

 

Have an 04' and no headliner problem here...

 

Made in April 04 and no problem here.
