Looking to replace the entire housing. I recall seeing some pretty good looking ones on someones car here once before, can someone provide a link
I think the ones i saw had no amber color and was smoked slighty.

To bad you drive an 05, i have a set of cleared/blackend with zkw lenses and type s clear diffuser for an 06 for sale. Like others say JnC is the man to look for.

 

So your saying 04-08 are not all the same? Whats the difference? I thought just the tail lights were different in 07-08. I guess I need to pay more attention

 

I think 06 have the DRL... I'm assuming you can still install them on a 05..

there was a harness or ballast change in 06, and the DRLs came out in 07. the type-s also has a different/smaller diffuser.

 

04-05 lights are same as far as internals are considered and they look the same as well.

06 headlights are same, aesthetically, as the 04-05 headlights but they do take smaller ballasts that Acura/Honda adapted after 05.

07-08 Base model headlights are different from 04-06 as they had DRLs incorporated in the headlights rather than fog lights. They take 9005 bulbs for DRL as compared to 9006 used for the 04-06 fog light. All other components are similar to 06 model headlights i.e. low beam bulbs, turn signal bulbs and HID ballasts.

07-08 Type S headlights are similar to base model headlights structurally but differ only when it comes to some esthetically enhancements such as blacked out bezel plus semi clear turn signal diffusers. They also take 1157 turn signal bulbs compared to all the other model 3G TL headlights that take 7443 turn signal bulbs.

 

Theirs a bit of hazing on the drivers side but its not bad or anything. Unless your kinda picky. The passenger side has a scratch on it. I talked to JnC and he say if i or the buyer wanted to I can send them to him to recondition the lenses and they will look like new. But i am asking 400 for them with the condition stated applied! I just took them off and installed new ones so i am gonna try to clean them up and post some pics in my BM thread i kinda neglected! Be in the look out!

 

Esco, you can make the lights work for you if you have 06 ballasts, you need just the 06 ballasts as the ignitors for both years are the same .
