Hi everyone! I was wondering what bulb the fog light in the tl’s headlight uses. Not the fog lights that go in the lower bumper, but the actual fog light in the cars headlight. I have to replace one, and i read the bulb is 9006, but i wasnt sure what that meant. If i search up 9006 headlight would any of those bulbs work as a replacement without the watts or anything like that being an issue?. Thank you in advance for any and all help

 

Since you mention not the light in the bumper, guessing you have a 2007 or 2008, which would make that a DRL not a fog light. Pretty sure your DRL is a 9005/HB3. I drive an '05 so I have no actual experience if I am correct on that.

 

The 2004-2006 American TL has fog lights integrated into the headlights, as my 2005 does.
Those fog light bulbs are 9006 bulbs, per 3G Garage Service Department thread https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...-077-a-691135/.

 

You know...I guess I read their post incorrect last night and assumed the wrong year. So to the OP...what year do you have?

 

07-08 DRL is 9005 in case OP comes back

 

I have an 05 base. And its the foglight integrated in the headlight, cause I dont have the fogs in my front bumper yet. So the light is 9006?

Plug in your car year make and a model in here and you can see all the bulb size/types for your car!
