i keep getting calls from these people about extended the warranty now is this a scam or what???

 

it is not really a scam. Those are 3rd party warranty companies. Most dealers will not even fix your car.should you get it?

What about Mercury Insurance and Paragon Motor Club? I have heard that these are pretty good ones. Am I wrong ?

 

I was told by a mechanic friend aftermarket warranties are a pain. He told me some companies require the mechanic to get on the phone with the company to verify the work to be done or even having the place's OWN mechanics come look at your car before ANY work is done.

If you can get a manufacturer's warranty do it. Less hassle when you need something done and most likely will cover more.

 

I get it all the time.. it gets annoying..

thought i was the only one that got those calls glad to see im not alone, annoying isnt even the word for those calls, they call my house and my cell..

 

i get them 3-4 times a week its veryy annoying

 

I think they're about as trustworthy as the phone calls stating your warranty is now expired.

 

Man I hate those phone calls, I got 2 of them earlier today.

 

supposedly if u press "1" it takes u to an operator and if u press "2" its suppose to take u off their calling list..juss tried it dont know how long it would take b4 they actually stop calling

 

also try the National Do Not Call Registry.

 

I live in Canada and they are calling me. I pressed number 2 option and they didn't call me in a week or so. I think it worked haha
