Hey Guys, Im tired of the way my factory grill looks on my 2006 TL . I was thinking about painting it or buying an after market mesh grill!

any suggestions? on which would look better or is more better

Saif, I see that the mod bug had bit you hard. There are a lot of people here that have painted their grill. Looks good if done right.

 

Please don't do one of those ghettoass mesh grilles, they look like trash.

Just keep the grille the way it is and match it to the car. Looks great.

 

^ - There have been some very good DIYs with mesh. Gives the car a different look and doesn't make it look worse. Factory grill is rather boring.

 

I was wondering why everyone keeps spelling it grille so I looked on wikipedia and it says:

"In the United States, "grille" is used to differentiate the automotive part from the cooking device, called a "grill"."

So I guess grille is the correct spelling...learn something new everyday.

HAHAHAH!! thanks for the suggestion guys , im thinking of painting the factory grille! by the way i got a 2006 black TL , i might do a little custom job on it!

 

i dunno.. stock 04-08 TLs have one of the best looking front ends/ grill setups in the industry. but your call on that one...
