On Friday evening I called my salesmen to ask him if I can bring my Mitsubishi Galant 02 to the dealership to get it appraised. He was busy with a customer so I left a msg with the secretary. In my mind I 'm still thinking that Ill get my TL by March 20th. I get a call from him in 1 hr. He tells me that they got a White w/parchment TL with Nav in today. I said, "AWESOME." I asked him if he could hold it for me. He said he couldnt even though I had a 500 dollar deposit down it wasnt for that color it was for an Abyss Blue. He told me to come 1st thing Sat morning. Which was ok for me. I arrive at the dealership 8:00 am and see the Tl im going to get. It took a long 4 hours to do all the paper work. At the time they were preping the car for me. When I was finished with the paper work I get to see my new car. And I was impressed with the White pearl . Looks very classy. I made the right choice. I got freebies to like mud guards, wheel locks, and rubber mat for the trunk. As I drive off the lot I couldnt believe it was finally mine. The car has a very impressive ride. Nice and smooth. Fast pickup speed and comfortable ride. I love the seats. The stero system is so nice too, I love the Dvd-a demo disc that came with it. Now what i have to learn is how to operate all these dang gizmos that came with the car. I wants toys and i got them now its my responsibility to read all these manuals that came with the car. Congrats on your new TL!

Do you really prefer the white to the blue, or was the idea of getting the car now just too tempting to pass up?

I saw a Blue TL at the dealership when I was there and it looks good don't get me wrong. It's just the darker colors makes the color appear smaller. I live in Orlando it gets pretty hot during the summer time so white will not absorb the suns rays which will keep the car cool on the inside. Man the white ca is classy looking

I agree the white is classy, I was tempted myself by the white. But like a moron I told myself I didn't need Navi (what can I ask was I thinking?) and I wanted a color that I wouldn't see over and over. I picked Redondo Red with no Navi, the only choice I regret is not getting the Navi.

Ahhhhh well.

I am bad with directions and destinations , so the Navi had to be there for me. It's so cool how the car tells me I have a quarter of a mile before I reach my destination then as I get closer it breaks it down to feet ,ie: 500 feet. Then when you arrive it says Destination! I believe its a good investment because when it comes time to trade the TL in years later you will get more out of the deal. Maybe get an aftermarket one installed later on.
