Got mine last night - 6MT w/ Navi
Hi Guys,
I love this car!!! It's Black w/ Parchment interior. I can't keep myself from sitting in it and listining to the soundsystem and fiddeling w/ the navi. In addition, the blutooth capabilities are great, I use it w/ my SE T68i. I'll post pictures later.

I got it at MSRP.
No options, just Navi. The Brembos come with the 6MT, but they actually don't say Brembo, they say Acura.
The stick is great, but the first gear takes a little getting used to, the rest of the gears are flawless and easy to engage. The RSX's first gear is much easier to engage w/o stalling.
It's raining out here, but as soon as it stopes, I'll get some pictures.

Is that the standard tire and wheel package with the 6spd? Are they 18s and if so, what size tires are they?
Great looking car by the way, even if black has never been my favorite color it does look nice on the TL!

no those are 17's...18's have more of a titanium finish and there are separations in the middle of each spoke...so it seems like 10 spokes but it's a star shape...uff it's difficult to explain lol...go to www.acura.com and check it out there...or just check around this forum, people have posted a lot of pics!!!...seeing you guys with your car is making me very IMPATIENT!!!!! lol...I WANT MINE TOO!!!!!!! hopefully one week from today it will be here!!!

Thanks for the pic!
The pedal looks kinda close to the break pedal though, like the G35
I find my S2000's clutch pedal position very nice and comfortable. I don't know if I'll be able to get used to the clutch being so close to the break.

Enjoy, as far as I know your #2. Welcome to the 6spd brotherhood. You'll get used to the first, it took me a couple of days. I also had never had a 6 spd before so that took a little getting used to. Now I'm flicking gears up and down without thinking. Congrats this car is pure joy and it goes like stink too!

What do you think of the clutch pressure? What about the travel. I am concerned with stop and go driving and how high the pedal makes your knee go. I drove a friends cougar (old) and it was a very heavy clutch and it pushed my knee into the steering wheel!!
I have been wanting to buy a manual for so long.... but my current 'baby' is a Formula 350. They did not have manuals when bought. I think it might be time to get a new 'baby'. Since it is a 1987 model, I keep them a LONG time and do not want to make a mistake.

Have a question about the 6MT. I am getting to order one and the last 2 I have driven seemed to have the RPMs hang between shifts. For example whe I would rev to 5K, press in the clutch, it took an unusually long time for the RPMs to drop down to match with the next gear. Is this common?
I had this first problem years ago with a 280Z Datsun/Nissan that was the first fuel injected version. It seems that had a BCCD valve to control the quick throttle liftoff to limit emissions and any chance of backfires. Anyone else notice this on a 6MT TL? I noticed it the most when I drove one tonight. It was about 25F outside so I don't know if the cold was a factor. I made sure the car was warm while test driving.
This could be really annoying AND hazardous in heavy traffic. Any feedback or anyone else notice this? I have several manual cars I drive on a daily basis and none have this tendency.

One more thing, if you accelerate and then let your foot off the gas pedal to decelerate, the car slows down immediately, thereby the rev's fall immediately as well.
