GM Synchromesh vs Dealer TSB fix
#41
Not to mention that a search using "GM syncromesh" turns up the following threads in the first 15 results:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...gm+synchromesh
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...gm+synchromesh

I'm sorry, but I'm not buying your excuse for needing to create a new thread. If you were a newbie, I might have cut you some slack, but you're not a newbie...Us veterans should know better not to further clutter up our forum. Penalty flag for you....

No offense, but that statement is an oxymoron. You didn't have time to wade through 50,000 threads, so you decided to make it 50,001 threads??

Your treating my post like I just wrote "what is GM synchromesh" and thats pretty damn far from accurate. As a "veteran" you should recognize that instead of going all "hall monitor" on me.

Those links answer all of your questions on the fluid. Reading the TSB would have told you what is done for the TSB.
I'm sorry if you think I'm the hall monitor, but it's clear to me that you made no effort to use the vast resources and information available within this forum.

Yes in time I would have found all these things I suppose but I only had a few minutes.
And you ARE coming accross as hall monitor. Its neither useful or productive.

The shear number of Azine members who are using the fluid should have been an indication that no one fears a voided warranty.
The instructions to access the TSBs are clearly presented on the TSB page. (It's the sticky post in the "Problems" forum).
Only had a few minutes? You had to know right then? Couldn't wait until you got home to search?? You had time to make 3 follow up posts while still at work...
Again, if you (or anyone) had taken the time, all of the information is on this forum.
And any questions you felt were new on the TSB or fluid should have been appended to an already existing thread...

For the rest of you that were actually helpful, yeah it seems like Synchromesh is the way to go. Worse case scenario if I have problems down the road I could always swap out the fluid and bring it into the stealership.
I like to try to avoid that place as much as possible. Thanks guys.
