Type S Lights on a Base ?

Type S Lights on a Base ?

If i took off the tail or head lights off a type-s model will they fit on my 2006 Base model?

10-4 beastmode.
type-s lights and heads fit on base models.

although you would lose the functionality of your fogs if you did the HEAD swap.

dont do it. the corner lights for your base are smaller and so the sockets dont plug into the larger typeS socket. unless you want to start splicing crap and buying the connectors.. not worth the trouble.

you can 'rig' it so the base connector fits but be ready for fogging/condensation.

Keep in mind it's not plug n' play exactly. As others have said, some of the connections are different and involves some work to get it to...work.

I have Type-S tails and side markers on my base. I didn't have to modify much to do it. The side marker plugs are a bit different but was able to plug them right in with NO modification

How is this being a poser? If I added the Type-S pipe tips and trunk decal.. sure but the tail lights and sides? It's only window dressing
