I'm looking to put led's in my license plate. What would be the best kind for a 06 tl and what would be the part #? Thanks in advance!

google what the bulb size would be and go to V-led.com

They have LEDs for everything. You can also go brighter with cold cathode lights, but those have to be hardwired into in and are not a direct replacement. Also use the search button on this site, tons of information on here

Myron said it nicer than I could figure out how to. I was going to ask if you want someone to install them for you as well.

Myron, stvtec-both of you waste more time beating around the bush rather than coming with an answer.

Can't you guys help a new member with a simple answer and maybe a link with an answer to his question????

Really guys.......really?

Teach a man to search and feed him (with knowledge) for a lifetime. In any case, it wont be a problem. OP can't handle a little tongue-in-cheek stab even with a rofl smilie, I will definitely stay out of his threads. Sorry you got so upset about it dude.

I don't post a lot because I search but couldn't come up wit the bulb that was the best for this application! Like Steven Bell said just give a answer or don't post. By the way why are you still posting on my sh*t?

Buy these:

Hands down, the best LEDs.

Sorry, the pictures just don't do justice.

A lot brighter in real life!

Look, Acurazine is one of the largest and most successful automobile communities on the internet. It was built by members helping members, especially new ones. We were all newbies once. We all had lots of questions because we just bought this new hyper-classy Honda and fell in love with it. We all wanted to "dress up our TL's" and make them look great.

Stvtec, you haven't taught the OP how to search, you've just pointed him in the direction of the search. I myself still have trouble searching from time to time. Hell, when I first joined Acurazine, I didn't even know the Search Engine even existed on this site until some member treated me right, pointed me in the direction of the Search Engine and gave me some pointers as to how to get the desired answers I wanted out of it.

That's all I'm suggesting we do...let's welcome a new member, give him a good experience when he posts on Acurazine and not bully the new member. If you're tired of newbies asking the same old questions over and over, just don't post in the thread. But remember, you probably asked a question that's been asked many times too.

Sorry I didn't know the specific part numbers of the bulbs I was thinking about so I just told him what site people usually get their bulbs. That's why I said, google what bulb type, because I always forget that one too so I always have to google it. And then just look for that bulb on v-led.

Also told him there was another option for this instead of LEDs. And I wasn't gonna go searching around this forum for stuff because I can't find stuff for myself half the time.

OP if you do end up searching for stuff here, best bet is to google search for what you want with ACURAZINE somewhere in there. ex. How to change license plate bulbs ACURAZINE.

works much better than azine search engine

FYI, I had http://www.superbrightleds.com/ for my license plate lights and after about maybe 2 years they started to flicker. For what its worth I have had no issues with interior ones though.

I had the same problem, but I hear this is a common issue. from others that used other vendors. I like the level of service that SuperBright does and have never had an issue with purchase, or initial quality. I even popped for LED flood lights for the can lights in our kitchen and love them.

I upgraded my license plate lights from superbright again to this model and these are both brighter, smaller and hopefully sturdier too:

On ebay I bought a bundle that included EVERY SINGLE light such as dome, trunk, doors etc. LED for 29.99, install of every single light was done in 10 minutes no lie.

I searched on eBay now, but I guess they raised the prices, LED lights are getting very popular

Yes be a little helpful. I used to be a newbie once, not too long ago, I posted something like this

then after a few bashing for my stupidity, I get this
