G-109: DIY-Eliminate LED Bulb Induced Hyper flashing WITHOUT LOAD RESISTORS

Just got mine done, took about 30 min taking my time. I got my relay out pretty easily, used a regular pliar(not needle nose) and a small flat head.
Push the relay to one side off one of the clips, then grab it vertically with the pliars.
Use the flat head to push the other clip and with the other hand pull the relay off in an up and down motion with the pliars. Came off surprisingly easy.
Hope this helps some1.
PS. Didn't have wire cutters to cut the ressistors so i used a nailcliper FTW!

Just did this.
I don't have any LED turn signals in yet, but when I turned on my 4 way blinkers to test out the job, I noticed the clicking was LOUDER than usual =(
Does that mean I screwed up? I can hear the relay clicking loud.
I don't know if it's just me.
Hopefully my LEDs come in tommorow.

1. just you
2. when you press the hazards, the left and right blink at the same time so it could be that both of them going off at the same time makes it a bit louder
have you tried signaling just left, or just right to see if it's loud?
i notice nothing in mines

I havn't tried that yet lmao
Is there a way I can signal left or right without starting up my car?
It's in the garage right now and it's cold out - I don't wanna start it up and let it warm just to test left and right signals lol
What you're saying does make a lot of sense, though (about how both signals going off could be loud).

thanks fellas I'll be sure to find out tommorow on my drive lol
I just hope it's not because of my soldering job lol
I can only tell if they work once I get my front LEDs in =)
I was so excited to get them today, but turns out it didn't arrive yet.
Hopefully tommorow.

I fucked up bad and not sure what to do. I replaced the shunt resistor with the a .24 1w ohm resistor, installed my cleared/blacked out headlights by Jnc, then tested everything before putting the bumper and things worked great. I put the bumper on and right after that my car won't start, cluster lights won't come on and headlights won't come.
I just ordered a new relay and I'll try again. If worst comes to worst I have a great extended warranty that covers a crap load of electrical shit and hopefully this will fall under. Any thoughts on this?

Bulbs installed, and no hyperblink.
Special thanks to everyone in this thread, and xavier25 for providing the .24 ohm resistors!
I can finally confirm (through my experience) that .24 ohm will work even if you're only doing the front LED turn signals and keep the rear turn signals halogen.
Will post a thread in Photograph gallery soon when I can get night shots.

Thanks BSpecialist, I took a break I'm gonna try to resolve this issue tomorrow. My pops said the same thing. The reason I ordered a relay was because it was cheap and I think my soldering what shitty and that could of possibly cause the fuse(s) to blow.
Guitarplayer16, awesome job with your mod man, hopefully I'll be joining this club soon enough lol.

Thanks dude
Make sure your accord fog wiring is good. I noticed my car had the same problem (NO power at ALL) after the accord fog install but I cleaned things up and it seemed to fix it.

I'm happy to report that the bulbs work and I too have no hyperflash. The problem was my battery, some how it went completely dead. After charging it for 2 hrs at autozone then installing back in everything worked fine. Many thanks to everyone!!!

Okay, so I did this and the LEDs don't flash anymore; however, both of my 60 LED switchbacks have failed. Furthermore, autolumination will not refund me or allow me to exchange them on the basis that 60 LED switchbacks require load resistors... What should I do fellas!? These things are damn expensive!

Are you saying you soldered a 0.24ohm resistor correctly and upon finishing and testing it out, you came to find out that both your front and rear LEDs are fried? They don't even turn on, or let alone flash at all??

Sounds like Autolumination is trying to take the cheap way out by making things up so they don't have to replace them. I'm no electrical engineer but I don't see why not having load resistors would cause things to stop working. They are still receiving 12v with the load resistor but I don't know what else would cause it to stop working. Make sure you have the module pressed in the correct direction and also make sure you press it in firmly so you hear the tabs click.

I did this mod yesterday took me a while to remove the relay , kinda tight down here lol well finally it popped out n got me right on the bridge of my nose , ouch ! Lol I've never soldered anything before so I was a bit confoozed ;oP I too used nail clippers to cut the wires. I finished after 3 burned finger tips. worked out fine. Put it back together n ta da... No hyperflash. Although for some reason I feel they blink slower than before the hyperflash. Probably just in my head since I got used to the faster blink rate lol thanks for the great find OP . now, what else can I solder .... Hhmmm.... Lol

No, everything worked fine for a while. They stopped hyperflashing. I do not have rear LEDs. The front LEDs only illuminate solid white. They do not blink either. Just white 100% of the time. They sent me a replacement bulb for one of them and that seems to be working fine...HMM!

In prep for my LED's for the rear and switchbacks for the front, I just tried this using a 1W 24 ohm on my 05 AT with halogen's in all 4 corners and neither turn signals right or left will blink, hazards will not blink either. I took the resistor out put the shunt back in, all lights flash. Any thoughts for help?

Thank you! I had the wrong resistors, after getting the right one all works fine now. I also received LED's for the rear today and installed those this evening and they work fine too. Now I'm waiting for JNC to ship my headlights and I'll install LED's in the front turns as well. Thanks again.

I have 7443 in the rear. I purchased them from Ebay.

I bought mines the same place where benny got his.... except i got the ones that were $5 cheaper.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/7440-Super-R...ht_1884wt_1269
2 of those = $24.48. free 2-3 day shipping.
the ones benny linked would cost $34.96 for the same 2 bulbs with the same 2-3 day shipping.
it's from the same seller btw lol

I did this mod a couple days ago. I was a little worried about soldering the resistor on the bottom side of the relay because I was afraid that my soldering might be too sloppy for such a tight space so instead of removing the oem resistor I cut it in the center and bent the two sides up and soldered the resistor to that. Seems to work just fine. Also, I used a .1 ohm 1 watt resistor. Great alternative to load resistors and it only cost me 58 cents!

no problem!
i bought those exact same bulbs about a month ago.
here's a video that shows how the LED looks while flashing compared to the halogen bulb
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au_sh...layer_embedded
sorry i didn't show both turn signals at the same time.. i was standing in my garage and i couldn't back up any further to show both turn signals because of a wall.
